Become A Wolf Trap Teaching Artist!

Are you a performing artist with a passion for teaching young children?

Apply now to train to become a San Antonio Teaching Artist in the Wolf Trap method and then conduct paid teaching residencies in Pre-K programs around San Antonio.

The Wolf Trap model uses the performing arts to teach science and math concepts, build confidence and cultivate imagination in young children, while providing excellent professional development for Teachers.

Wolf Trap teaching artists are placed in 16-session classroom residencies, which are held twice a week during the school day.

 Artists are required to attend a full week of paid training and conduct residencies in local Pre-K classrooms. 

Applicants must have at least three years of experience as a professional performing or teaching artist in the disciplines of music, dance, or drama including puppetry and storytelling, as well as experience working with young children, ages 4-5.
